Merrimack gusts and the January easement they demand
A river pulse is a second map, not a mood.
Stand on South Main in October and you can already feel the Merrimack arguing with downtown. That argument is the overlay. Shops that ignore it sell summer lofts to winter people.
Willa will not run the overlay if the clipboard is empty. She also will not skip it when the clipboard is full. Both refusals have lost us hardware sales. Both keep the maps honest.
Hopkinton players who only play thawed months should say so. We will stamp a thawed easement and refuse to pretend it covers Beaver Meadow on a granite morning.
